Wendy Designs Ibiza
WENDY WILLIAMS SCHMITZ nació en Inglaterra en 1941 y llegó a Ibiza con su marido alemán y sus dos hijos pequeños en 1972. Durante los siguientes 35 años, pintó hermosos óleos de la ciudad y el campo de Ibiza, sumando un total de alrededor de 35 exposiciones individuales y colectivas. Recientemente, después de un lapso de 12 años, decidió probar un estilo bastante diferente y ahora está teniendo mucho éxito y se divierte pintando en acrílicos fluidos, amando la libertad y la espontaneidad de este nuevo medio. Desde su regreso en 2019, ya ha realizado varias exposiciones. Sus pinturas grandes y coloridas son particularmente adecuadas para la vida moderna en Ibiza.
Wendy también es conocida por sus diseños de mosaicos que se pueden ver por toda la isla en hoteles, apartamentos, tiendas y piscinas.
WENDY WILLIAMS SCHMITZ was born in England in 1941 and came to Ibiza with her German husband and 2 small children in 1972. During the next 35 years, she painted beautiful oils of Ibiza Town and countryside totaling around 35 individual and collective exhibitions. Recently ,after a lapse of 12 years, she decided to try quite a different style and is now having a lot of success and fun painting in fluid acrylics, loving the freedom and spontaneity of this new medium. Since her comeback in 2019, she has already had varios exhibitions .Her large and colourful paintings are particully suitable for modern Ibiza living.
Wendy is also well-known for her mosaic designs which can be seen all over the island in hotels, apartments, shops and swimming-pools.
WENDY WILLIAMS SCHMITZ wurde 1941 in England geboren und kam 1972 mit ihrem deutschen Mann und zwei kleinen Kindern nach Ibiza. In den nächsten 35 Jahren malte sie wunderschöne Ölbilder von Ibiza-Stadt und der Landschaft, die insgesamt rund 35 Einzel-
und Gemeinschaftsausstellungen umfassten. Kürzlich, nach 12 Jahren, beschloss sie, einen ganz anderen Stil auszuprobieren und hat jetzt großen Erfolg und Spaß beim Malen mit flüssigen Acrylfarben, da sie die Freiheit und Spontaneität dieses neuen Mediums liebt.
Seit ihrem Comeback im Jahr 2019 hatte sie bereits verschiedene Ausstellungen. Ihre
großen und farbenfrohen Gemälde eignen sich besonders für das moderne Ibiza-Leben. Wendy ist auch für ihre Mosaikdesigns bekannt, die überall auf der Insel in Hotels, Apartments, Geschäften und Schwimmbädern zu sehen sind.
